Locally craftsman made, our Shepherds Hut is here to welcome you to Wensleydale. The hut is eco friendly and off-grid, ideal for short breaks and family fun, so prepare yourself for an adventure.

We live locally to the Shepherds Hut so are on hand to help or guide if needed. We are happy to discuss your holiday plans with you and help find the right balance of accommodation and activities to help you enjoy your well earned break away. As the hut sits in a 3 acre small holding we are happy to involve you in feeding the chickens & pigs, collecting eggs or apples, dependant on the season or chatting to you about sheep. What is in the top part of the field will very much depend on the farming cycle.
In the field
In the bottom half of the field where the hut sits we have an orchard, play pitch for a bit of footy practice and a swing set for the kids to play on. We also have some outdoor games to play if the weather is nice, like giant chess and Connect 4.
